Tips For Kitchen Drawers

Organise cutlery - recycle items not suitable for use and organise what's left into spoons, knives, forks etc. Keep only what you use in this drawer and place the extras in another area of the kitchen for parties and big gatherings etc.
Large utensils - recycle duplicates and items not fit for use. Try using a utensil hanger or using a basket to store these on the counter top as they do tend to get jammed in the drawers.
Junk drawer - consider using a cutlery organiser to arrange items. Use your phone to photograph restaurant menus or keep them in a plastic sleeve and store with recipe books.
Keep an envelope for your receipts and clear out every month or pop into a plastic sleeve each month and file.
Wash cloths and dish towels - move unsuitable towels to rag box for cleaning and fold neatly.
Pots and pans - stack pots and pans into each and store lids separately. Recycle pots and pans you no longer want if used and donate if unused.
Spices - lay your spice bottle down, label facing up in drawers to make more space on the counter tops. Some brands can stand up inside drawers as labels are on the lid.
Wipe out each drawer before replacing items
